Time Machine backups
Applies to Shield Vault only
Shield Vault can act as a Time Machine destination for your Macs. This page lets you review the backups stored on the Vault and permanently delete the ones you no longer need to free up space.

The page shows each backup bundle with its name, size, and last-modified date, plus how much Time Machine storage is in use.
Deleting backups
Select the backup bundles you want to remove and press Delete Selected Backup.
Deleting a Time Machine backup is permanent — it's removed from storage and cannot be restored later from the recycle bin.
Tips & troubleshooting
- Delete old backups only when you're sure you no longer need that point-in-time restore.
- To set a Mac to back up to the Vault, point Time Machine at the Shield share and sign in with your 'wombat' password.
