Download the latest signed update below, then install it from your Shield's own Update page — it takes about 30 seconds. Every file is cryptographically signed by WOMBATS, so your Shield verifies it before anything changes.

Reliability, security and usability roll-up: Wi-Fi and encrypted-vault storage now recover automatically after a restart, two unauthenticated-access gaps are closed, and dashboard, parental-controls and list-display glitches are fixed. Includes Travel Mode.

How to install

Download the update file above.
On your Shield, open Admin → Software Update → Open Update page.
Add the file, press Import (your Shield verifies the signature), then Verify and Install. Don't power off or refresh while it installs.

Only install updates from this page. Because every file is signed, a tampered or corrupted download simply won't install. If you use vault encryption, the auto-unlock improvement takes effect after this update plus one restart cycle — install, restart, unlock once, and it stays automatic from then on.
