Shield updates are simple and entirely in your hands. When an update is ready, you download a single file from the WOMBATS website, drop it onto this page, and install it. Nothing updates automatically behind your back.

- Every update file is cryptographically signed by WOMBATS — your Shield checks the signature before it touches anything.
Adding an update file
Use Add file to choose the downloaded update (or drop it onto the box), then Import. Remove unused files clears out old update files you no longer need.
Installing
Under Ready to install, choose a verified update and press Verify, then Install. Installation usually takes about 30 seconds.
Don't power off your Shield or refresh the page while an update is installing.
Tips & troubleshooting
- You can also reach this page from the Admin page via 'Open Update page'.
- Because updates are signed, a tampered or corrupted file simply won't install.
